Monhegan Island, Maine! A Beautiful Art Colony w/Many Surprises

Monhegan Island, Maine! On the warm summer day, When The Sun has made its perfect place in the sky, a cool breeze, can be felt, followed by an intoxicating smell of wild flowers, that sends you into a Mid Summer's Dream. Invision a place where every nook and cranny has an artful surprise and a garden of delight. Where rocky cliffs lead down to a vintage shipwreck and beautiful harbor seals, just in walking reach. A place, any mermaid would be content swimming and treasure seeking in private water inlets. There is such a place, Monhegan Island, which is just a short ferry ride from Ports Clyde, Maine. http://www.monheganboat.com/
If You are an art or nature fan, or who just wants to explore, please visit Monhegan Island, and you won't be disappointed. You can tour and explore the Island in a short time, But please do not pick the flowers or harm the terrain! While there, take a walk by the Wyeth House and stop in the one of many adorable boutiques and gorgeous art galleries. Just don't forget to hike to the Village Overlook or the Lighthouse.
I recommend taking this wonderful trip during the Lobster Fest, in Rockland, in August and staying at The Berry Manor, in Rockland, Which is one of the best bed and breakfasts, I've ever stayed in. They even leave fresh baked desserts, tea and coffee in the kitchen for your eating pleasure, along w/sweet treats served on victorian dish, left on your bed, with the sounds of classical music, beaming throughout!
